EFH

With our patented system, EFH, we are able to deliver turn key systems for more efficient fuel heating on vessels, reducing the operational costs and reducing the environmental impact.

In traditional bulk heating the whole tank is heated continuous to enable transfer of fuel. The
heat loss from the HFO tank is proporsional with the difference in temperature between the oil and the temperatures of the boundries of the tank. The heat exchange area is several hundred square meters on most HFO storage tanks.

With EFH only a small volume is heated intermittently. The temperature of the tank is kept at a temperature close to the temperature of the boundries of the tank reducing the heat loss.

The installation of the system can be made on newbuildings as well as retrofit during docking or during operation.
